2008
To date Juddmonte has bred 32 individual Group/Stakes winners of 47 races in 2008, including Group/Grade One winners African Rose, Champs Elysees, First Defence, Monzante, Promising Lead, Proportional and Ventura.
Arrive was awarded the H.J. Joel Silver Salver after being named Broodmare of the Year (Flat) by the Thoroughbred Breeders Association, following on from her full sister Hasili who won the 2006 Broodmare of the Year award. Arrive has produced this season top-class fillies Promising Lead (by Danehill) and Visit (by Oasis Dream). Promising Lead won the Gr.1 Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh and the Gr.3 Middleton Stakes at York in 2008, while Visit was victorious in the Gr.3 Oak Tree Stakes at Goodwood as well as finishing in the frame in the Sun Chariot Stakes, Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf and Matriarch Stakes, all Gr.1 events.
Juddmonte has also won the TBA Queen’s Silver Salver in 2008, which is awarded to the Leading British-based Breeder (Flat earnings).
2007
In 2007 Juddmonte bred 27 individual Group/ Stakes winners of 33 races.
OASIS DREAM was awarded the Tattersalls’ Silver Salver at the 2007 TBA Awards for the leading first season British-based sire, joining his predecessors Warning and Zafonic in gaining the award for Khalid Abdulla’s Juddmonte. The 2003 champion sprinter was responsible, among others, for the Gr.3 Princess Margaret Stakes heroine Visit, the Gr.3 Cornwallis Stakes victor Captain Gerrard, and earnings of £347,455.
Juddmonte was also presented with the Andrew Devonshire Bronze at the TBA Awards ceremony. This prestigious award recognises the far-reaching contribution that the organisation has made to the Thoroughbred breeding industry through the past three decades.
2006
Juddmonte bred 30 individual Group/Stakes winners worldwide in 2006, including the Group/Grade One winners Cacique, Latent Heat, Passage of Time, Price Tag and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Rail Link. The last three mentioned are all by Juddmonte's successful young stallion Dansili, who was Champion sire in France in 2006. He is being joined at Banstead Manor in 2007 by his full brother Cacique.
Hasili, the dam of Dansili, Cacique and of course Banks Hill, Intercontinental and Heat Haze, was named Broodmare of the Year by the Thoroughbred Breeders' Association. Hasili becomes the second Juddmonte Broodmare to win this award, following on from Slightly Dangerous - the dam of Commander in Chief, Warning and Yashmak. Juddmonte has also been awarded the TBA Silver Rose Bowl for the second time, which is a discretionary award presented to Breeder of The Year.
Juddmonte has received 10 Eclipse Awards to date, including Top Breeder Award in 1995, 2001, 2002, and 2003 and Top Owner Award in 1992 and 2003.
Juddmonte has now bred 68 individual Group/Grade One winners of 121 races.
